She is a habitat. She grows, she eats, she photosynthesises. She is slime mould, jackal, satellite. A collection of songs, stories, soft things, hard things, shiny things, living things and dead things.
The Rainbow Witch spins us a tale of how she came to be, that celebrates the diversity of our planet. It is a joyfully silly celebration of the unknowable, chaotic mess of plants, animals, people and things we call home. The cloud of gasses in the far nebula, and a party of bacteria in the gut. The micro and the macro, and how we need both. How we ARE both. It calls on us to notice and protect what's around us, and see the tiny hidden living worlds on our doorsteps, in our bodies and out across the universe.
Tomasin Cuthbert (Performer/Designer of The Rainbow Witch) Creative Producer/Designer/Performer Lead artist of Soap Soup Arts, and freelance Theatre Designer for over 20 years. Soap Soup specialise in Visual Theatre, puppetry and combined arts projects.
Ed Rapley (Director of The Rainbow Witch) has worked as a performer, director, outside eye, actor, writer, and workshop leader since 2005. Director of The Snow Baby and Co-Director of The Pixies’ Scarf, his practice is rooted in humour, and draws from his training and experience in the art of clown and fooling.

Vanessa, 40's, returns from a date to her babysitter Miriam; an A-level student. Vanessa’s aggressive loneliness holds Miriam captive for longer than she’d like to stay.
Marcia graduated as an actor from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in 2020. Through Fringe theatre and London pub stages she found her love for comedy, going on to complete the Character Comedy Lab at Soho Theatre. Last year, Marcia earned a Professional Diploma in TV Comedy Writing from the National Film and Television School, screening her graduate film 'Dunno Chef' at the BFI Southbank.

The Shark (Marty Buzzard) is on the up and up and her new album (of covers)is coming out! As part of her press tour she is going on Piper Terne’s big, flashy Late Night Chat Show. Marty's there for a good time but Piper needs a ratings boost! Will Piper take it too far this time? And has Marty bitten off more than she can chew? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
'Interview with a Shark' is a piece of new writing that celebrates swimming against the tide. It explores how we create the cult of celebrity and persona in an internet age that values authenticity over everything!
Muttonbird and Pigeon (Emma Hughes and Daisy Williams) are a performance duo who make scrappy, joyful shows in Bristol. From Beauty Pageant to Talentshow they specialise in satirising traditional media in their shows, and, importantly have lots of fun while they do it.
